Scary movies review
The fantasy and supernatural film genres are not synonymous with the horror genre, although thriller films may have some relation when they focus on the revolting and horrible acts of the killer/madman. Some scary movies are smart, as opposed to some which are deep rising. The Exorcist was banned by some councils in Britain upon its release here in 1974, but broke box office records in the US to become the biggest selling horror movie of its day. In Hitchcock’s classic The Birds, the only true avian sounds are heard near the beginning of the movie, in a pet shop. It triggers a body-wide reaction in milliseconds, pumping out stress hormones that prime the body for action.
